Cute week - Michelle and Karen

Hi,
Karen and Michelle are with us today with more cute samples.

For the background of this Christmas card I applied Peeled Paint Distress ink all over a 9x9cm piece of card, then over stamped with the same ink using the trees from Dylusions Christmas Backgrounds set. Then I added red glitter to the spots. The cat is by PaperArtsy and has been stamped onto a separate piece of card and coloured with Copic markers. I added red glitter and Glossy Accents, cut out and stuck to the background. Then I made up a little hat with scraps of felt and a teensy pom-pom. The wording is computer generated.
Karen used:

PaperArtsy SM25- cat

I used the same principles for my calendar page as above minus the glitter! e are cat lovers so the computer generated saying is very appropriate!

To make the page I simply inked the background with distress inks then stamped Gwendolene with Versafine ink.
I bleached out the colour from her face and clothes and when dry coloured her carefully with Promarkers. (Versafine resists the bleach but will smudge with Promarkers so a little care is needed to keep the ink to a minimum)
I then stamped the flowers, inked the calendar and attached it to the page.

To make the calendar Michelle used:
Water brush filled with 50/50 bleach and water
